Default Need car advice

Not sure what to do. Because of my job I really need AWD/4x4. Where I live it snows in the winter and I can not call into work for weather. I work in emergency services.

Right now I have a 2008 Eclipse, FWD. Does okay in snow but not going to be ideal for worse weather.

I ve been looking at BMW Xdrive cars...I want a different car anyway and I HATE trucks. Should I sell my eclipse and get a 328i Xdrive. Or spend less money and get some AWD beater like an Impreza. Or dare I even get an old Jeep. My car now is and has been paid off for a while.

I like the idea of having 2 cars but I'd also like a Nice car over all.

Don't overlook the Fusion Sport, with the 2.7 Eco, AWD.

My wife has the BMW 328i Xdrive and loves it. The car handles great, comfortable driving, and has a lot of pick up in the sport mode.

MKS awd. They are dirt cheap and that is a helluva lot of bang for the buck, comparatively speaking.

Keep your car and get a Jeep. They're freezing cold in the winter and hot as hell in the summer. And if that didn't sell you, chicks think guys that drive Jeeps are tough and rugged. It will confuse them when they see you get out of your manly Jeep and see your big purple flaming heart tat on your chest.

AWD on a BMW is just another expensive part waiting to break, I wouldn't buy a BMW.

Explorers have an AWD option, but a jeep would probably be my choice.
