We have five useless rescue dogs that arenít good for anything but raising fleas and costing money. One has diabetes and we have to shoot him with Vetsulin after every meal, two of them have breath that rivals a sewer the day after Thanksgiving, one of them is a biter, and the last one chases down all the rats she can find (almost caught a fox, which would have surely turned the tables on her). Iíd share pics, but it looks like most of the pics I have shows them all sleeping or itching.

Wish I could have gotten a picture of the other day, I got off work early and came home, they were all playing poker and drinking my beer and smoking my cigars.

But they keep us company and donít get too judgmental.

Cat rules Butlertown.

A white lab and a Calico Persian. Ox, are those really your fur fam members? Or did you just Google?

Butler (7) and Tac (17).

Our son was 5 when he named Tac.
For the democrats out there, Tac is cat spelled backwards.
Butler is named after some character in a book.

Tac's been a good cat, she never really wrecked anything and is sociable, but she's getting old. Has Kitty Dementia. Yes, it's a real thing. She'll stand in the middle of the room and meow at nothing. Likes to start her day at 4 am too which is wonderful.

They've both been crackerjack pets. Butler has all the positive traits you expect from a Lab and he absolutely loves every person he meets.
We walk 4 miles most days and pass through a college campus where some of the students know him by name. He brings a smile to their faces, and you know me, I'm all about that brightening someone's day schit.

You know how to tell who loves you more, your dog or your wife right?

Lock them both in the trunk of the car, wait ten minutes let them out and see which one's happy to see you.

Think I'll try that tonight.
