New pacemaker friday! Still sore but yeah good to go for another 10 years or so.

Anyone else have to deal with this BS?

I couldn't imagine what that must be like. I bitch and complain about having to wear reading glasses now.

Turned 76 last week. No chest pains or heart symptoms ever (or rather, yet!), but I attribute this to never having smoked. In high school, lots of my friends started, but the horrible taste it left the one time I tried it told me don't start. Lucky, I guess.

My sister, 12 years older than I, started at 14. At 65, it killed her. Unfortunately, I like to drink..........imp

You're in luck. I saw a study that if you drink and don't smoke, you'll live longer than a non drinker.
Of course it said "moderate drinking". Like Billy said on Goliath when asked if he drinks too much, he said No, I drink just the right amount.
