IF BILL IS DUE 20TH

AND I MAILED PAYMENT 21ST

BUT I WROTE ON CHECK 19TH

IS PAYMENT STILL LATE

If they are being sticklers about it they can check the postmark date. if you hand deliver (in drop box or person) it counts whenever they retrieve it... so drop off after hours means it's paid the next day. Most companies give you a 7-10 day grace period with no charge... some even longer. Financial institutions tend to be ****** and charge you 1 minute past due date. at least wellsfargo and citibank.. i guess other banks I've dealt with are cool... I guess I need to stop using wellsfargo and citibank...
