I have it. It isn't anything to mess with. Get treatment that is proper and don't mess with unproven stuff.

I ignored it for years, finally started treatment. Unfortunately, due to years of not treating it I now have Barrett's Esophagus, a pre-cursor to esophageal cancer. I take a daily does of Omeprazole and have it under control, and every couple of years have to get scoped to check on the progress of the Barrett's.

I have it and have been on medication for years to control it. It is serious business and needs to be dealt with by a doctor and not some witch craft.

Along with prescribed drugs, you guys also do anything like elevate your sleeping bed or do anything else, other than cut out acidic foods/drinks?

I elevate the head of the bed and it seems to help. We have a sleep number bed and it is adjustable so easy to do fortunately

I take one of those little acid reducing pills, takes about 20 minutes and it's gone.
