I like the Scotch Ales - and things that have a nice malt taste to them.

This thread reminded me of something:

The Chairmen of Coors, Budweiser, Miller, and Guiness were meeting and decided to grab lunch.
The Coors chairman said, "bring me a Coors Light". The Budweiser Chairman said, "I'd like a Bud Light", The MIller Chairman said, "I will go with a Miller Lite of course".

The Guiness chairman said, "bring me a Coke". The other three said, "aren't you going to have a beer?" To which he responded, "if you fellows aren't having a beer then I won't either."

Love it!

Scottish ales - which ones do you like?

I bought a 6-pack of Smith’ick’s Irish Ale, and WOW, good stuff. Hearty, but not as dark as Guinness - just plain good stuff. Was imagining that with a hot roast beef sammich, maybe a French Dip, on a cold day. It’d be just as awesome as just a fine beer to be appreciated for what it is.
