Thought this might be a good venue for a meet, especially for the race fans among us. Weekend is June 8-10. The corrall pass is $40 and includes general admission for the race weekend, Mustang corrall parking, pit/paddock pass, and a lap of the track (I doubt in anger - maybe slightly upset, though ). Have been to the track for ALMS, but never for Grand-Am. Not a formal car show but should be a good number of Mustangs to view if the Corvette corrall at the ALMS event is any indication. Anyone game?

SEE CORRECTION BELOW

The main race itself is SAURDAY, with qualifying FRIDAY & support races on SUNDAY (an official event schedule should be posted on the Mid-Ohio site closer to the event). The corral should be open all 3 days, and folks can come & go, as I understand it. We don't even need to have a formal meet-up if we don't want to, or maybe just have a time place for those there on a given day to casually get together. Whatever we want to do, seems pretty flexible.

I'll likely be there both Sat & Sun, w/an outside chance of camping there for the w/e. Though I'm only an hr away, so I'll likely just commute.

Figured if we're making plans for late May I might as well get us thinking of early June, too. Apparently the big race day is SATURDAY, not Sunday as initially stated (likely due to TV). Your corral pass is good for all 3 days. The Stangs gone wild car show is Saturday also. The w/e schedule can be found at grand-am.com, and event & ticket info at the links above.
