I called Kil-Kare, unless you are running under 11 flat, you don't need any special mods other than a helmet, pants and shirts with sleeves. You get under 11 though and you need a rolbar (I do, vert) and fire suit. So I was told. I don't think I will be crushing 11 so i'm in. Thursday kind of sucks though for about 3 more weeks cause my son has T-Ball from 5:15 - 6:15. I could easily go after that. The park is less than a mile from Kil-Kare.

Edit: By "after that" I just mean after T-Ball is over at 6:15

Not a problem. Looking forward to it. I've only been asked by about 15 people around here if I plan to race it at Kil-Kare..lol Oh well, just that many more people to make fun of my 12 second or so car that I will run 20 in...lmao

I may very well be too. Done at 3:00pm on Thursday & off for the weekend! Probably about a 2.5 hr. drive for me; I'll hafta see if I can crash at my sister's place or something.

I know I'm a little late in this, but I could have sworn kilkares Thursday test and tune was $15 to run but its unlimited passes. Get there early, you can get a lot of runs in before everyone else starts piling in. Been wanting to get back out there and see what my new time will be.

Also, I autocross, interested in that? I do it in Columbus, in fact just got home from todays event a little bit ago. Check out www.ovr-scca.org, you'll even see my car in the gallery for this year.

If you want to do track days, be prepared to spend near $200, make sure your car stays cool and if your car doesn't already have dot 4 upgrade to that, or the other compatible fluid is I think dot 5.1 but harder to get and more expensive. Just make sure you do NOT use dot 5. Check out mid- ohios site for that.

Put me at 75% for right now. Need to take care of logistics & double check some stuff. I've got a brief meeting after work, but should be able to hit the road by 5-5:30. How late does stuff run? Hoping for an ETA of 7:30ish.
