Are we supposed to talk about rides here? LOL. Ok, I bought my wife a ruby red 14 GT for xmas. She was at a conference when I picked it up and fell in love. Well, couldn't give her my truck and keep her stang, so I bought a black 14 GT for me. Now I need new rims. Hate the stock 5 spoke ones. Ok, I'm done.

Nice ride. I agree with you on the rims. On my 2011, that was my first upgrade. My 2012 came with Brembo package and I love those wheels.

Plan on any upgrades?

I want new rims, plan on a tune, CAI, Roush extreme exhaust, and the Raxiom Nav system. I haven't done anything yet. I'd love to put some GT stripes on it, but I'm not sure how grey stripes on a black car would look. I don't want white stripes. I'll probably save for rims first. I don't mind the 18's since I drive year round.

Sounds like a good build list. I had a 2005 GT, black with red stripes...if you go into my profile and look at the pics/albums, you can see what that contrast looks like. However, if I could go back and do it again, I would Matte Black stripes in a heartbeat.

As far as the CAI and Tune, I would stick with a reputable tuner, Bama and Brenspeed are both good, i have used both on the new Coyote motor. Brenspeed was def more aggressive, but with my 2012, I went with Bama to cover the #8 cylinder misfires with their warranty.

I'll be at events I can for sure. Whether we bring both or just one remains to be seen. As for extra cash, topkat, I'm kinda tapped at this point. Of course, being a TINK (triple income, no kids) helps.

Ive decided on the bama tune and the airraid intake. The rims I want are the GT500 from American muscle. Just need to get past Christmas and the mods start!
