5quarts exactly for the 4.6?
Is it me or do our mustangs' require more than 5 quarts of oil? My dipstick always shows that 5 isn't enough and 5 1/2 qt's get up to the half-way mark in the designated area.
How much do you guys put? I've even gone ahead and put six! :/ The oil didn't pass the "HIGH" mark on the dipstick as it was right on the mark, but it just sounds dangerous....

what does the new mustangs taking 6qts have to do with anything?
And nacrchi if your car takes 5 1/2qt's, a 1/2qt of oil wont put you in the danger zone. Now a qt and half is a different story.

I put 6 quarts of Mobil 1 evertime. It's weird because my 1.6L sentra takes 6 qt's as well. haha
I just wanted to make sure by the way....Now I wont worry bout pouring too much oil.
