Default Oil after hci

i am going to change my oil after my hci, should i run anything special? i know with new shortblocks people recomend certain oils/additives. my heads intake cam lifters are all used if that makes a difference. thanks mike

any conventional or synthetic 10w 30 will be fine

you only really need oil additives/break-in oil if you run a hyd flat cam (you have a hyd roller)

run some cheap 10w30 dino oil for the first 500 miles or so than change it for some decent quality stuff.

Just to get any kind of junk that might be in the crankcase, out.
