have an oil question for you guys?

what is the best oil to run in a 5.0? stock block and stock heads....i was told royal purple but want to know what you guys think. And also what is better...10-30, 10-40,5-30??

I believe there is a fine piece of literature known as the owners manual. Refer to that for the proper weight oil.

Any "main stream" 5W or 10W30 oil will serve you well on the street. I use 5W-30 Havoline myself.

I use Amsoil 10W-30 Signature Series exclusively.
