Default Oil additive

Does anyone use zmax in there mustangs? If so what is ur opinion on it? Do u find it really makes a diff? Is it even worth using?

As with most additives - you might as well flush your money down the toilet.

The FTC actually sued over zmax, if that tells you something.

what's wrong with your motor oil where you feel the need to tamper with it?

most oil additives are like those stupid products advertised on late night TV. A solution to a problem you don't have.

Nothing wrong with it just was really curious. Watch car shows on tv and almost every one of them promote zmax. Thanks for the info.

lots of shows promote things. They get paid to promote them. Whether said products work is another story.

IIRC, Carroll Shelby even did endorsements for Zmax.

So far as I'm aware, none of those products have been shown to do anything besides take $40 out of your wallet. And some have even been proven to be harmful to your engine. Just run good oil and filter and change regularly, that's all you need.
