My vote would be for Mobil 1 since I've never heard of Shaeffer and Royal Purple is over priced.

ranieves58, a little background info. Schaeffer's is the oldest oil company in the United States and has typically in the past catered more toward the industrial and agricultural markets. In recent years, their trend is making the product available to a broader base of customers, from what I gather. The founder of the above mentioned website, bobistheoilguy.com is/was a Schaeffer's oil company representative. That being said, I personally feel that today's oil/lubricating products are all up to the task. In my drag, street and oval cars, and drive trains, I personally favor AMSOIL full synthetics. Next would be Royal Purple, then Mobile 1 Synthetic. P.S. Schaeffer's is no slouch either.
