I'm new to the forum, and I'll be looking for some information as time goes on.
I'm currently restoring an 03' Base V6 Mustang.
My first question is going to be a lengthy one. Sooo, Here goes:
My 03' V6 Mustang has been Frankensteined with the motor and transmission from an 99' Mustang V6.
It is running and driving, but I have a miss/hesitation on initial throttle press both in Park and In Drive/Reverse. As I said, the motor and transmission is from a 99. I also had to use various parts from both the 99 and the 03 to allow the wiring harness to connect properly. When everything was initially put back together We had NO engine warning lights! However after a few starts and drives to check systems out, the engine warning light is on.
I have an OBDII device and I'll be checking to see what codes I have and will post up again once I have.
I'm looking to see if there in anyone on the forum who has also performed a similar swap. If you have and were able to iron out any issues I would appreciate if you got in touch with me.
Thanks
