Say It Ain't So...Wings on NASCARs next year??
I heard that due to the fact you can take the air off of someone's spoiler, get them loose, and then either pass them or they wind up in the wall, that NASCAR is going to put WINGS on them instead of the old traditional ducktail spoiler?????
Say it ain't so NASCAR!!! Please don't "rice out" Stockcars!!!
I'm sorry to say that, but those big wings scream "rice" to me because so many ricers now put them on their pathetic 4 cylinder vehicles!

the wing on the "car of the future" which will debut at Bristol next year is a little gay but it's low and it's functional.
Have you seen the front splitter? It's hideous too but apparently they are trying to keep down force on the rear and get rid of the dangerous aero push.

The templates they have now look horrible.
If it makes it safer for the drivers, I'm all for it. I could careless what the cars look like as long as the racing is good.
Note the Truck series. Best professional racing series period.

well, Trans Am dumped the duck bill 5 years ago....now if NASCRAP can get EFI and stock body panels, then they will be on par with the Speed GT Championship, until then, I will boycott ANYTHING with a NASCRAP logo on it (this pisses off my wife in the grocery store). I was raised on NASCAR, and when Helton took over, it turned into NASCRAP

OMG! remember what they said about the body's when they decided to outlaw the hemi engines and tall wing, well, well?, remeber what they said about it in 93 when they were leaving the 1988 boxey bodies?, now there saying this, we need to learn to not be afraid of change
