Solo 1 or other track events

I'm looking to do a solo one type events, I've seen auto x with the parking lot and cones and really didnt like it as much as when i head out ot my local road course and open it up a lil... Does anyone in here run SOLO 1 or a comparable sanctioned class?

im probably gonna run some solo 2 next summer with my stang. i ran a BMWCCA event in my uncles toyota supra today and loved it

yeah I would do the solo II for the scca chicago region but they have sound restrictions that I can't meet, I wonder if they really care about that rule ???

Hey, about the sound restrictions, when I used to race SCCA Solo II down here in Florida, they very much care about sound. My friend and I went to run together, the rule was no louder than 100dB, and my friends RX-7 was like 120dB, and they just on sight said that it was too loud. If you're really close, you might be ok, but if you're one of those roaring 140dB cars, they won't tech you.
