Auto-x'd the Mustang for the first time
I am not a beginner to Auto-x. My last 2 cars saw plenty of time in parking lots going around cones. They were a Supercharged G35, then a Mazdaspeed3.
I was very nervous about autoxing the mustang, mainly because it just felt bigger to me. I have only had the car for 8 months, of which I did not drive it 3 months (MN winters). I also didnt have it set up the way I had my other cars, very well built for autox. I didnt have the funds to buy track tires, so i used the Vredsteins I got with my 20s.
My performance mod list:
20" ZR Downforce w/ 295/255 width
Panhard bar
Eibach struts
FR K-Springs
GT500 strut bar
GT500 AB exhaust
JBA Cat deletes and H-Pipe
Bama tune
Hawk HP+ pads
RBF600 brake fluid
Russel SS brake lines
The result? MY GOD. This car killed it. Out of the 6 runs, around the 3rd one, was so confident and started shaving off so much time. The car was planted, never lost the back end, and just handled beautifully. I cant even imagine what it would be like with dedicated track tires, and coilovers. I did very well, i finished 16th out of 97 when it came to raw times.
And there were some damn good cars out there.
Here are 2 videos. The first one, my camera was messed up, so the sound is BAD. turn it down, but i did great, it was my best run. The second one, a friend took. bad resolution

OP,
Nice work!!!!! It's always refreshing to see a Mustang on a course! I used to run ST (Let's not talk about the car!) what feels like years ago. First thing that comes to mind here! Front and rear sway bars and upper and lower control arms, are you running them at all! I would be very interested to see times after they'd be installed. Let me know if you don't have AM's discount code and shoot me a PM, I'll get you set up!

This is what I am looking for! Hey guys I need some pointers because I may participate with some buddies in my first ever autox event. Never even been to one!
I want any and all helpful pointers. I have an 03 gt 5spd. Almost full bolt ons, h&r lowering springs, drilled and slotted rotors, 275s in front and 285s out back. I don't wanna thrash the car insanely hard as I don't want to risk wrecking it at all.
What is the best thing I can do to ensure that the motor doesn't get starved for oil in the corners?
