The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals series is pleased to announce that Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords and American Muscle have stepped up to present the 4th Annual All-Female Shootout at the Reading (Mohnton), Pennsylvania, event, which will take place at Maple Grove Raceway the weekend of April 28 – May 1, 2016. The All-Female Shootout brings together some of the fastest women in the U.S. racing their street-legal Mustangs and Fords for national glory!
“Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords created this class 4 years ago and it has become another exciting feature of the WyoTech NMRA Ford Motorsport Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway,” said Steve Wolcott, co-founder of the NMRA. “With added support from American Muscle, this year’s All-Female Shootout is sure to become even larger and more competitive. The best part is that many of the All-Female Shootout racers will appear in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords and throughout American Muscle’s digital network.”
NMRA’s lady racers will first compete in their own all-female QA1 True Street class, presented by Muscle Mustangs, on Saturday (must meet all TS rules) with their own cash prizes and awards. True Street lady racers have the chance to win the following:
• Winner: $250 + 6’ Trophy
• Runner-Up: $100 + Plaque
• $100 + Plaque to Each Winner of the 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15 Second Averages
On Sunday the eight quickest racers (will use alternates if any racers cannot participate) from Saturday’s ladies-only True Street competition will race heads-up on a .400 pro tree (sportsman ladder) in the All-Female Shootout for cash, awards, and the coveted title of All-Female Shootout champion! All racers not eligible for the All-Female Shootout will receive a free entry into Sunday’s NMRA Bracket Showdown. All-Female Shootout racers will be competing for big money and bragging rights:
• Winner: $1,500 + Custom Victor Award
• Runner-Up: $750 + Plaque
• Semi Finalists: $300
• Quarter Finalists: $100
