Quick question, just checked out that post you linked, apparently it says if it's Stack=Stock, then it means that you can download something from their website and unlock it yourself, without having to send it in to them. Do you know anything about that? And if so, would you have the cable to connect the tuner to your computer?

You could "unlock" it from the liveload software if it had any changes left. The lack of anymore changes is the whole deal with this tuner. About the cable, it is just a USB printer cable that attaches to it.

if i understand how these work correctly, the only reason you would HAVE to pay for a tune is if you want to be **** about your tune OR if you had so much shizz done to your car the generic ones loaded on the tuner wouldnt be enough compensation. because, if i understand things correctly, there are 3 generic tunes for the car on there, plus the 3 custom slots? where the generic ones are essentially 87 tune, 91 tune and 93 tune, with the options to turn on/off 02s, edit parts, gear ratios, remove speed limiter, etc.
or are these generic ones the ones that take the 3 spots?
