Default XCal 2 Needs to Have Changes Loaded by SCT

Price: $100
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: SN95, New Edge, S197
Location (State/Prov): CA
Item Condition: Used

Ok I have here a XCal 2 that I used on my 2008 GT. I traded the GT for a 2010 F-150 and now I need to get a newer tuner to tune the truck. So I don't need this one anymore. This tuner as you can see from one of the pictures is not "locked" but it does need to be sent to SCT to have more changes loaded onto the device. I spoke to SCT and they told me they could add changes for only $65. So let me know if you want it. Paypal would be the way to go for payment.

Bump
Would anyone be more interested if I just sent it to SCT myself and had some changes added. This is not a scam, be not wary. This is a perfectly good working piece of equipment and I would have kept it and used it on my truck if I could have.

Do the changes need to be done be SCT, or could you load another tune onto it, like from Brenspeed for example? If so, I'm very interested

The tuner needs to be sent to SCT so that they can enable the device to be paired up to another VIN number. After it was sent into them then you could load up custom tunes from Brenspeed or anyone else for that matter. I hope this was helpful. I am not sure if everyone understands what needs to happen with this flasher.

Check this out, I guess my tuner is half locked but like they said "fixable". It all lies in sending the device to SCT and having them hook up some more available "changes" i.e. make it able to mate up to new VIN's. I spoke to SCT 2 days ago and they told me $65 to get some "changes" loaded up. I was going to do it for myself until they said X2 won't work on 09+ F series.

Exactly^............When I first bought it off of a guy on craigslist it was in the same condition that it is in right now except that it had one VIN "change" left on it. So I installed the LiveLoad software and was able to unlock it from my PC, because it had one available VIN "change" left, which I used up on my GT. So now the exact same thing would need to be done but first it needs to go to SCT to get some changes loaded up onto it which is $65.

If you're willing to get it opened first, or at least lower the price I'm interested. Just that I can't justify a $100 tuner + $65 "unlock" + $50 tune from Brenspeed. If I'm going to be paying over 200 dollars already, I can just look at an XF3. PM me though if you want to work out a deal.
