93 LX 2.3 Auto Trans Problem
 

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and hoping some pony owners can help with guidance. I have a 93 LX 2.3 Auto with 98K owned since new and suddenly I have no gears at all. No forward gears nor reverse. Was recently in a minor fender bender first ever in her life then THIS :-( Only slight front bumper and corner light damage so can't believe the impact would have caused tranny problems as was able to drive her home into the stall. After sitting for about 2 weeks, I decided to have a body shop check the damage to compare to my insurance claim so when I went to drive out from the garage NOTHING! Starts fine, runs fine, gear selector shifting seems fine but no vehicle movement. RPM's increase with throttle as normal. Fluid level is ok as well. My skills are very limited and regretfully I do not have a jack. Hoping that it's something simple like a cable/linkage that I can check before having to tow her for the first time in her life.

Any ideas?

Suggestions for a GREAT Pony shop in SE PA - Lancaster County? My father and I have always done all the work on her but now he is unable to help me. :-(
