92 LX 5.0 when i got the car it had the cats off long tube headers h-pipe and flowmaster 40 series i think they are mac or bbr headers and h-pipe not sure. The person before me cut them off after the muffler. I was wondering if anyone has an sugestions as far as completly redoing the exhaust or just adding tailpipes?

Well, how does it sound?...If you go to an exhaust shop, you can get them to pipe in new pipes (welded in of course) and get some nice tips.

you should be able to put tail pipes in and have them mig'd in

yea, worst case if that doesn't work you can get a cat-back setup for $200-300. that should bolt right to whatever h-pipe you've got in there

Ok thanx for the help but i have heard quite a few mustangs that sound a lot better then mine. I would like somethign that is as loud or louder but somethign that is a lot more throaty sounding. I hear that magnaflows soudn that way and are deciently priced.
