I have an 2001 saleen and am in the process of installing a paxton supercharger and the stock saleen computer will not let me chip it so i can tune my blower. I called saleen and they are not willing to help me to flash my computer back to stock. So i went to ford and just ordered a stock 4.6 computer and am waiting for it to arrive. this techperson at ford is going to program a stock computer with 2003 stock GT specs and hopefully my car will accept these new codes and let me chip it so i can add and tune my supercharger. pretty confusing huh. can any one help me with my problem? has any one added an aftermarket blower paxton or vortech to a base model 2000 and up saleen s281? please help my im stuck with parts and cant get my car to except them......thank you, Robert

You should use stock '01 GT settings in the computer. YourPaxton S/C kit should have come with a credit tag for a computer chip. You call Paxton, give them the info on your credit tag, and they will give you a return authorization(or simply RA)#. Send back your computer with the RA number. They will read the code in the computer, and provide a chip for you. You wouldn't have to pay for anything, beacause the chip price was already included in the price of the S/C kit.
