Ok, i just bought a vortech supercharger for my 96 mustang gt, it has 80000 miles on it, it runs excellent and everything is stock on it. i put the charger on it and i can feel the difference. the only reason i put it on is because i am the causual weekend racer, like once a month type of deal, and my friend has an acure integra gsr supercharged which was beating me, so i bought this and put it on. how long can i run thius setup on my car? i usually drive this car very casually, like it was a baby, but once in a while some kid comes along and i'll race him, not very often though. so i guess now that i have said a lot of bs i'll get back to the question, how long can i run this supercharger on my stock car before i see any real problems?

I own a 94 Gt with 61,080 miles with alot of mods. Just make sure you have enough Fuel for it so it doesn't run LEAN I have no problems at all just shift it in it's Range.

if you are using the chip, fmu, and fuel pump the kit came with, you should be fine

I'd say, if it's properly tuned.. and you're not hammering on the pedal night and day, I'm sure the motor will last a while. Anything's possible, though. I mean.. all it really takes is one bad tank of gas, and "there she blow." But you seem like the type of person who's fond of their car, and knows how to take car of it. I'm a technician for Comcast Communications and we have a Ford Ranger our Quality Control guy drives around in.. and in all honesty, it has 300,000 miles on the motor. It's like, wow.. lol.
