$6000 to spend on boost...help me decide..
Well I have decided to keep my car(was contemplating a GTO) and have wrecked my brain trying to figure out what kit I want to get. Its between the kenne bell and the procharger stage II intercooled kit. I would like some other opinions on this. What I am looking at know is the procharger is a more complete kit. How complete is the kenne bell 2.1L kit for the mustang? The prochrger is a little cheaper but with all the options I chose it comes to a little over 5000. If I go with the kenne bell I want to get the polished supercharger and that will put me at roughly $5700. If that is the case and its complete I am thinking about getting that. Also, my wife will be getting this installled for me while I am in Iraq so that it will be ready for me when I come home in Oct. Where is a good shop to get this installed with no bull****? I am assuming that I will not need a tune since the kenne bell comes with a chip. Please discuss.

KB or turbo Both are within the $6000 range (just barely on the turbo, but still feasable). With install, the turbo will break your budget, but it'll be worlds better than a centrifugal supercharger.
I'd say the KB kit is a winner, but we have people here who will just call for a vortech regardless of the situation Same situation with 4.10s, LM I exhaust, and black deep dish bullitts... some people just aren't open to other ideas.
The KB kit for $5700 seems about right, I'd pass on getting it polished though, and use that money to get a GOOD tune, because the tune on the chip will work to get you where you're going, but I wouldn't feel very safe on it. That's just my opinion however. It will have everything else you'll need though. Expect to drop about $1000 for install, depends on the shop though. They'll rape you on the install.

Or is that a stang with a 200 shot of nitrous on top of it?
I don't normally do this but... [sm=bs.gif]
