hello all. if i got a smaller pulley, would the boost kick in before the stock vortech pulley at 4,000 rpm?

if you got a smaller pulley, you would boost faster and more, but is your feul system and engine ready for more boost?

nomo forgot to mention that you could over spin the blower and throw the belt.

or it could do nothing except give you more power. but the bad out ways the good. anyways centrifugal superchargers are more for high RPMs. if you want boost down low you should have gone with a positive displacement or twin-screw blower

yeah, but hes only running the stock pulley. an s trim can do up to 20 psi...but the belt can break or pop off if a smaller belt isnt used when needed.

he did not say what blower it was. i would be concerned about overboosting the engine.
