Default H pipe question.

Im thinking of getting a non catted H pipe. Im trying to see if a local muffler shop can bend it for me custom. Has anyone ever done this? How does it sound? and what size pipe did you use?

Im not sure about the sound (I assume if they do it correctly it would be just about like any H-pipe you could buy). As far as the pipe sizing, I would go with the 2.5 inch piping.

Don't do it!! Most exhaust shops don't have a mandrel bender. Buy one made for your car!

Just buy one off ebay if your on a budget. My friend did that and got one for like $120 and its better quality than any muffler shop could do, probably costs less too.

I agree...just buy one. They aren't that expensive. Can't see how an exhaust shop can do that much better on the price, than a new one.
