Default "new edge" and a bypass valve VORTECH

Espeically to new edge guys.

When you buy a MPH kit it comes with shipment from Vortech and a shipment from MPH. I bought the "Vortech" part of the kit from a dude that didn't want to keep his mustang, so he retured the MPH part but was stuck with the vortech part.

My question is, do you remember if the bypass valve came with the vortech part of the shipment or the MPH part of the shipment. I'm thinking it's the part that is directly below the intake tube that connects to the discharge tube, and there's a TINY (maybe 1cm diamater)tube that comes off of it and runs up the upper radiator hose??? Sound familiar anyone???

I didn't buy a vortech from MPH, but I bought a procharger from JMSchip. The bypass valve came in the big box that was labeled procharger. This was the box that came from procharger. The other stuff minus the s/c, intercooler, plumbing, and bypass came from JMS and Anderson Ford. So, your bypass valve should be in the box that came from vortech.

the vortech kit does not include the bypass... i dont think the mph does either... they are on ebay for 150 or so... Im doing a BOV and blow through, but the bypass is a much easier setup

It runs from the s/c intake tube underneath the s/c itself and hooks into the bung on the s/c discharge tube. Its underneath everything so I'd have to jack up my car in order for me to get my fat a$$ under it to take a pic. It hould have a hose with a 90* bend in it going down to a mechanism and then going into another hose which connects to the bung on the discharge tube. the small diameter hose that comes off the valve itself is the vacuum line that hooks into a vacuum line on the intake plenum.

im pretty sure that the vortech kit comes with a small black bosch bpv. its the same one im using. i thought that the mongoose kit came with a vortech maxflow bpv but maybe not. the bosch is only good for like 8psi though.

The vortech part of the kit DOES come with the bosch bypass valve and the MPH part of the kit contains NO bypass valve.... i know for sure

and it is just the valve, two hoses and clamps, one hose goes to the discharge tube and the other to the intake tubing. they are about a foot or so long a piece. but all of it comes with the kit

Why do you insist on posting inaccurate information that you have no personal experence with and present it in such a way as to make people think it is fact?

Seriously, your wrong half the time you post on tech stuff, whats the deal?

The vortech kit does come with the bypass. You cannot run a vortech kit without it. The blower inlet and exhaust has bung's for the piping, so at the very least you would have to cap them off, but the setup simply would not run correctly anyway, and as stated its with the kit.
