f**k NO IT AIN'T RICE.
It gives more power than a turbo, you can adjust boost with the turn of a **** (not changing the serpentine belt and pully for the blower)
The downsides: it takes more time to tune it right, and it takes longer to install
Don't listen to the people saying it's not for a daily driver or it needs more maintence. Neither's true.

YeaI talked to a guy this morning about getting twins and he said they are a bigger bitch to install , but much better hp gain , and easier to adjust when just cruising around town , so the end of the month im going to get 2 hks turbos with like before blow off vavle haha. call me rice all you want but when all you see is the *** end of my car you'll wish you did the same.

Turbos ARE good!!! Don't listen to ppl that don't know. READ comparisions from tech reports and I don't mean just ONE report.</P>
Read Read Read....turbo as oppose to SC's and N2O are much more powerful when you tune it right. --- actually the bigger the block the better the turbo performs with regards to lag. (ex: a 302 would have more lag than a 427.....IF the 427 is tuned right, it may not EVEN have any lag at all....that's the beauty) and with twins.....just heavenly.....again.....tune tune tune.</P>

Selecting the right turbos for your engine is very tricky stuff if you want it to turn out right. But when you get it right you can make unmatched power. The turbo is god when it comes to making efficient hp's. If i had the money thats the way i would go. And they are actually better suited for daily driving than centrifigual or roots style blown cars. If your serious about turbos give Precision Turbo & Engines or Innovative Turbo Solutions a call.

Read up on these two articles, it'll make sizing the turbo for your motor easier (granted it's for my 4 banger motor, but substitute your motor's specs instead and check out compressor maps).

Ok i think my friend is BS'ing me, i didnt believe me when he told me this, he said he knows someone with a S/C and a Turbo on 1 car!, i forgot what car he said it was on, i gotta ask him later, he told me the S/C was hella good for the low speeds, and at higher speeds the turbo was a big help, he seemed serious about it, he siadthat it was very hard to install cause of the balancing or somting like that, do u guys know if this is possible?!?! <edited><editID>2002 Stang GT</editID><editDate>37843.9367361111</editDate></edited>
