Alright guys I posted this about 3 yrs ago. I guess kind of a update to the 1500 S/C build. Below are the items listed, prices and places where I bought my parts from. If you need any help feel free to PM...

Vortech V1 T-Trim Head unit-700.00---- SVT Forums
Anderson Power Pipe--150.00---Corral.net

3.48 pulley--40.00---Corral.net
Tial Bov---220.00--JDsperformance
CX Rcing Intercooler (Complete kit)--210.00-- CX Racing (Ebay)
Seimens 42lb injectors--210.00--CorraL.net
HPX 05 Slot Maf--175.00--Kerns found this one for me..
Vortech mounting bracket--50.00-- Member of MF
Vortech mounting bracket hardware kit--95.00--superchargersonline
Oil Feed line--24.00--Vortech
Oil Feed Drain--24.00-- Vortech
SVT Fuel Pump-95.00-Member of MF
S/C belt--36.00---Summit Racing
NGK TR6 Plus--26.00---Auto Zone
Vortech Rib metal idler pulley ( 2.60", 6 rib)+Vortech 6 Rib Smooth Plastic Pulley (3"Lip)---85.00---JDsperformance
Stock Pulleys--30.00--- Corral.net

Total Cost: $2170.00

Didn't quite reach the $1500.00 Supercharger build but I think I did pretty good. Could have even been cheaper if I hadn't bought the Power Pipe, Tial Bov and went with smaller injectors. Any questions guys let me know..

Would the throttle body need to be bigger when adding a vortech to a bone stock mustang gt?

No it will not but I would highly advise you to spend the little extra money to buy a 75 MM TB.

Okay also how does this list compare to the ops'? What I mean is it more complete? Would it yield higher hp numbers? Like what makes it better then the one in the op? Thanks for answering my questions.

No problem man. I was very skeptical about doing this and it took a member off of here (Kerns) to talk me into. I really think mines a little more complete because I bought the bigger injectors, a really nice BOV, TB & plenum and an intercooler. I could have probably gotten this down to under 1500 if I really tried. Belive me this is not hard to do and if you want I can help you. No prob..

Hi all. I was reading this thread for a couple days now, debating whether or not I should go ahead with this idea.
I do have a couple of questions though.
My first question is, I have a 2004 GT 5 speed with 60,xxx miles. The only performance mods I have done to it are my CAI and Pypes O/R X-Pipe with Pypes Violator Catback. Both were installed by myself. I have also put in whiteface blue reverse glow gauges which I had to splice into the headlight with dimmer so it functions like a normal cluster. So I am not afraid of wiring and or turning the wrench. Would I be able to do this install.?
Also, does anyone know where I can find a used V1 S or T trim head unit for under $1000.? I've been on ebay with 0 luck. I am only looking to push 360-370 rwhp to have a fun daily driver as I do my fair share of spirited driving. lol.
Thanks in advance

How difficult is the installation. I would rather not give someone $800 to put it on for me when I might be able to do it myself

$800 is a ripoff. I was qoted $500 by a very reputable shop. I did it myself for free in a couple days. it is not difficult.

funny people around the forums still dont believe i got this done for $1500...

I definitely believe it, I did some checking around as I'm piecing this together myself and It can be done. I am curious though, I've been looking at a V3 si trim as I don't want to have to tap the oil pan and this also has more up to date gearing which won't be as noisy. Will all the parts still match up to it? (Brackets, hoses, so on)?
