Why not drop in the GM corprate 3.8L V6? I mean...look at the torque that sucker can produce turbod:

you see the 350 hi boys and dueces cuz it ezer to put them in there than it is ford or mopar cuz chevy did it right by making most of all there small block interchangable and everybody has some kind of chevy part around the house (almost everybody)try puting a 302 or 351 in an old car like that in the 60s 70s and see how much trouble and money it would cost you. now that ford put out so many 5.0 in the 80s and 90s has brought the price of ford parts down some and you see more hi boys and dueces with ford in them.

Doing things that's against the standard is the essence of hot rodding.
Look at my Saturn. She runs 16.1's (not faster than a stang, but it's fun to drive and spanks hamsters). Now think about it. People generally associate Saturns with old people and soccer moms. It makes it even worse that I have a 4 door.
BUT, damnit, it's fun, it's a sleeper, and it's doing what most think shouldn't be done. I usually get "BUT IT'S A SATURN" from folks, and they almost always shut up when I spit out some facts about them.
Don't be prejudice against domestic-domestic swaps. We're all in this one for the long haul.

i don't care chevys is just old JUNK.... every one has a 350... where the hell is the excitemnet in that.. it's just a 350... i like what boss460 has to say.... u rule take the word right outta my mouth.... plus i like having the distributer in the front on my 302 than on a 350 which is in the back..makes it much easier to tune... that is advacning the timing for playin around ....lol

I hate to stand up for chevy but you say everyone has a 350 like a mustang is all of a sudden a rare car.. Sounds like some of you dont have a creative bone in your body. Nothings more fun than putting the wrong motor in the wrong car. Now lets not turn this into another one of those dopey shouting matches.
