Bobby, sometimes louder isnt always better, If you go too loud with exhaust, it sounds raspy and when you nail it, it sounds horrible, stick with your exhaust, get a good cam, and then see what youve got to play with, if you still dont like it by then, then order some diff exhaust.

*sigh*.... raspy. i'll say this again. the loudmouths on a MUSTANG are NOT raspy. maybe on a maro, but not on a mustang. they were deep as hell and loud on my stang when i had the original LMs, they're hella loud and deep on Acer's now. not raspy at all. i had them with a magnaflow X, he has them with a MAC H. not raspy. NOT RASPY! LM2s are crazy deep, not as loud though. i like em.

I agree with mdvaldosta, Magnaflow. I saw an independent dyno test of the top 5 catbacks and Magnaflow won hands down in the HP and torque ratings. True also that MagnaPack's and SLP's will blow your ears out....but who ever said NOISE translates to performance. If you love cop magnets, go with the Pack's or SLP's. If you REALLY love NOISE!!!, couple them up with catless, "off road" "X" or "H" pipes. Then again, straight pipes are even LOUDER!!!! Enjoy paying your "noise" tickets. And, by the way, if you go with a LOUD set-up, don't throw away your stock system as you'll probably be forced sooner or later to put it back on. Have a GOOD DAY!!

i was running SLP's for the longest time and never got pulled over. i've sat next to cops at lights and started going. they never bothered me once. if you want loud, go with magnaflows / flowmasters. if you want louder, go with magnapacks / loudmouth 2s. if you want loudest, go with loudmouths. the performance difference between all these catbacks is very small. so you might as well go with one you think sounds the best. who cares if you don't get that extra 1-2 ponies.
