Pypes Muffler Eliminator on GT500 conv? What about C&L CAI?
Has anyone heard the Pypes muffler eliminator on a Shelby GT500? I undertand it is pretty loud, but have only heard a clip of a Mustang GT.
Do you think I will go deaf since I have a convertible, if I buy this axle-back system?
What do you all think about the C&L CAI?
Last, I understand these Mustangs have bad wheel hop so I will need some upper and lower control arms. Which brand should I buy? I owned a lot of BMR stuff on Fbodies and was very pleased? Does anyone know about CHE Engineering? Any others you would recommend?

Good looking shelby. I haven't heard a pypes md on a gt500, butI heard a few clips of a custom made straight pipe with magnaflow tips. No way is it too loud as long as you keep the cats on. I have a gt vert and am running an o/r h and stingers. The drone is rather bad, the vert still holds a decent amount of sound outside. A c&l intake or jlt intake for the gt500 would be a great add on, get a good tune with it and see a lot more power. I don't think bmr would be your best bet. Check out the handling section.

I don't have a GT500 but I do have a 2005 Mustang GT that I just put a C&L CAI on along with a SCT XCALIBRATOR2 with Tunes from Brenspeed. I can see a huge difference in it and its almost like a whole different car. I would recommend anyone getting a C&L CAI and or a SCT XCalibrator to anyone. I would only guess that it would just increase the 500 even more than a normal GT. Jeff
