8 rib s/c pulley on 6 rib setup

is it true that an 8rib s/c pulley can be used on the stock vortech 6 rib setup? If yes will there be any issus.

ive heard of people doing it but your probably going to get alot of belt slip. What size pulley are you going to be switching to?

i got a v2 sq ima be putting on in a few months. it came with a 3.33 8 rib but when i but all the mounting hardware itll obviously be 6 rib pulleys stock
