any owners of a 5.0 wanna tell me what they did, or a good combo to do? i know i like flowmaster 40s or super 44s, but what else should i do.

i think i like this flowmaster kit:
1987-93 Mustang LX/Cobra
1986 Mustang GT
2.5'' Outlets
40-Series Delta Flow mufflers
American Thunder series
Dual out the rear exit

sorry im a noob. but is this kit after where an x or h pipe would be?

My 5.0 uses a combination of Ponydown headers, crossover, and downpipe, Garrett exhaust driven air compressor, and Borla muffler, and it is one of the nicest sounding mustangs I've heard in person.

And that kid you are looking at is a CAT-back so it will come after the x or h pipe.

The American Thunder is a good sounding kit. Although it is a little quiet, but has the signature Flowmaster sound. Check into also getting an off-road h-pipe to really wake up your stang.

Just get yourself a nice of headers (JBA or Hooker), OR H-pipe & those Flowmasters and that great of a 5L Fox....

ive had my car for about a year now, and i still get a big smile on my face when i drive under a over pass and give it a little gas.

my set up is stock headers, BBK off road H pipe (means it doesent have cat's) and american thunder mufflers.

when i use to have the stock H pipe, the mufflers where super quiet, and i dident like it at all, but the off road H pipe is perfect, not to loud at idle, but about 3krpm it screams and sounds amazing.
