My friends father lost his job and his son was in Iraq, he told his father to sell his mustang for money so I have recently picked up an 89 Mustang GT 5.0 with 5 speed. Its mostly stock, I was thinking of getting one of the bolt on super charger kits and just driving it until that motor kicks it then putting in a 351. The motor in it has about 80,000 miles on it and seems to have been taken decent care of. Which 6psi kit would you all recommend as the cheapest but still getting the job done, and will I have to get a new tune/chip if I use one of those?

look on ebay for a used kit, the 5.0l is pretty strong so run 8-10psi,long tube headers,o/rh pipe,exhaust,a good fuel pump and ignition and you'll have alot of fun. then biuld a strocker motor with good heads on the side
