I have the saleen series two rotary s/c. I have had it for 3 years now. I drove a freinds 04 cobra with some mods. My mustang feels faster but his boast max. out at like 3000rpm. Mine gose to 3psi at 3000rpm and gose up from there. I do not get max. boast till the motor is reving at 6300rpm. When I got the saleen s/c, I told them I wented max. boast the motor would take. The said 10psi is max. so that's what I got. I remeber it made 10psi all the time but now it only gose up to 7.5psi. Is the s/c going, is there something wrong with it. PLEACE HELP

Could it be the the computer chip problem beacuse I'm have a little problem with that? It is runing lean from 1000rpm to 4000rpm and then gose pig ritch from 4000rpm up to 6500rpm?

I have never had the car dyno tuned. I had a custom diablo chip installed?

Could it be the wire harnes beacuse from 1000 to 4000 the timing gose down to 7 degress when the s/c gose on but the computer said it is going down to 17 degress? The first guy that worked on the car I think cut the wire harnes somewhere but I can not find it.

I think the two things are not from the same problem?

The timing problem happened when I got rid of the saleen computer and put in a new stock computer with the chip. The fuel psi is also off. The chip said 50psi but the gauge on the fuel rails said 40psi. Thats why I think it is the wire harnes.

This is why I'm thinking of the cobra motor with whipple s/c, but I do not what to spend $20,000 on all new parts if I can fix the 2 problems for like $3,000 or less.

Take nice road trip to GA and let Tim from MPH work his magic. If anything, you need a good tune (and an SCT chip).

Allright I know I need to do a custom dyno tune. I going to do it this fall but why is s/c not making 10psi anymore? Why dose it not acted like a roots s/c? Is it all part of the tune?

meh.. my vortech (centrifagul) blower doesn't start making any boost until 3000 rpm either.

I know my s/c is acting like a vortech centrifagul and do not know why
I thought it was norrmal ontil I drove a freinds 04 Cobra so gess what i'm asking is, is it norrmal with saleen s/c?
