difference in vortech superchargers
#11
if it was me personally, if the shot was 150hp or less i wouldnt dyno tune if it was a wet kit. dry kit and over 150shot i would dyno tune. if your not familiar with nitrous or engine tuning then you should take the safe bet and get a dyno tune

i will proably take it to the dyno just to see the numbers, and since its fairly cheap, but would you still pay to get a chip for your car and if so, why????? if its just nitrous on a stock 5.0 with exhaust as the only other upgrade, what could i benefit from a chip??? what do you think about nitrous, and a vortech combined?????

with just nitrous, you dont need a chip. just get on the dyno, make a few pulls slowing increasing the size of the shot while watching the afr and listening for ping. thats if its a wet kit. if your using a dry kit, you will need a chip or some other type of tuning to get the extra fuel needed into the motor
