Default Flowmaster 40's vs Super 44 for deeper sound?

I have a 1996 Cobra Mustang, I thought about the Magnaflow catback but am leaning towards the Flow 40's or Super 40's or Super 44's for that deep mean rumble with boom and bass. Which muffler will sound better with an H-pipe or Prochamber pipe? Also, do any of you know the differences in sound between the H-pipe and Mac prochamber?

From what i've heard the h pipe will be a little louder and more rumbly. The prochamber will be a little more refined and smoother.

I personally like the h better, because it's more raw and agressive sounding imo.

Any differences between the 40 Series and Super 44 from Flowmaster?

Also, this is pretty specific but do companies that make H-pipes all sound the same or do some companies make an H-pipe that sounds deeper than others or raspier, more throaty etc?

Super 44's are a little more aggressive....but virtually the same if you are looking at them. The Super 40 series are alot larger of a muffler than the Delta 40 and the Super 44s and have a little more reserved tone to them.

go with the off-road H and the super 44's, you'll be happy.

Second what Grnbullitt08 said! I switched from the 40 to 44s and couldn't be more happy... wish I had done it sooner.

just my 2 cents... you might wanna look at the flow charts... Flowmaster mufflers are some of the worst FLOWING mufflers on the market... they make a great sound but suffer in performance compared to almost every aftermarket muffler made...

The flow isnt going to effect his performance all that much....those flow charts come into play more when your running forced induction or big power. I know alot of guys that are still running stock mufflers with bolt-ons, and the car still runs great.

You guys want a bad *** system try out the Spintech pro streets. It is not as well known as flowmaster or some of the other ones you keep hearing about. I got them after going for a ride in my techs car.

Spintech does make a badass system...a friend of mine is running them on his Built 398ci Truck, that thing sounds nasty.
