Default Big wet shot.....I mean Nitrous

I currently have a fully forged motor and I'm saving up for a KB. Between the time I sell my P-1sc and when I can afford the KB I'm still gonna need some occasional power! I've been looking around and I'm seeing a bunch of 100 shot kits and a few 150 shots.

I want something that is will get me +400rwhp or damn near as close as possible. I also plan on keeping the nitrous kit once the KB is installed, so it will have to be a wet kit. Someone please steer me in the right direction. I am used to driving my car with well over 400rwhp as it is, but I am new to Nitrous setups.

power is power anyway you look at it. but nitrous is a torque monster way to go but the kb is power on demand!

I run a 100 shot on my ride. You can pick up a basic kit for $300-$400 used, and $500-$600 with used with several accessories.

There are several good kits out there.

I have been looking into direct port injection. The NOSzle kit is nice, but I'm having a hard time finding much feedback from users since it is pretty damn expensive for a nitrous kit. Probably well worth it though.

realistically its only worth it if your going to run a huge single stage kit (250hp+ imo). anything smaller then that and you can get away with a fogger or a spray bar. direct port just looks really really cool

The main reason I was looking at direct port is because the thought of a big nitrous back-fire destroying my mustang scares the **** out of me. I am looking to eventually run 200 shot. But I don't know much about these kits yet.

For wet kits, I am torn between the ZEX 82217 and the NX 20946-10. They are both designed for the 4.6 and look like quality kits. But after reading all this stuff about intake puddling and backfires, Its got me thinking that dry might not be a bad route to go.

nothing wrong with a dry kit. i wouldnt spray a 200shot dry tho. just besure you have a good tuner and a fuel system that can handle it

hmmmmm..... now i'm confused... backfires scare you , but you hate dry kits ?

well i guess direct port is the only option for you then... great kits but gonna hit you for about a grand with no extras
