Default SI trim or T trim?

Well, I already talked to superchargersonline and they said that my blower does qualify for the ugprade. I currently have a V2 SQ trim. I pretty much have the choices of an SI trim and a T trim. The SI trim is $380 but it only includes a new volute and a new impellar. The T Trim upgrade includes a everything new, except for the gears. So the T trim you somewhat get a rebuild as well (new volute, new impellar, new bearings, new seals). My goal is to hit 600rwhp through my built auto. Is an SI trim capable of this? Or should I go with the T trim upgrade? Just asking because the SI trim upgrade is $380 and the T trim ugprade is $1150

this chart could help you.... http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/scspecsheet.php looks like the T trim flows alittle more cfm and can hit 26 psi... although i think for your goal the Si will get you there hitting 22psi....

Its wierd, I have been talking to a bunch of guys on a bunch of forums about this. Its about 50/50 from guys who have personally ran both. Half are saying that the SI is actually a better blower and that the T trim is a dog down low and only shines if you are really going to spin it. Others are saying that the T trim would really do the trick in a setup like mine. hhmmm

trying to stay away from that till very last, obviously they are going to recommend to upgrade to their $1300 blower rather than their $400 blower.

Si is more efficient so you can increase timing a little bit. You will be able to put down more power per psi with the Si trim. 20PSI should allow you to hit around 600RWHP... Unless you really NEED the extra 4 psi that you can gain through the T-Trim, the Si Trim is the better choice.

t-trim all the way bro.

My t-trim on 8lbs is making 450 rwhp. You will have no problem reaching some pretty big numbers with more boost....

But i wonder, whats your power under the curve? if what some people are saying is right, your peak numbers are higher but you over all power may not be? when do you start building boost?
