I love the 40 deltas on my 6er. I bet they'd sound amazing on a GT.

Man I don't know.. when I think of Mustang I think of flows.. I really think people think that if it costs more it will sound better. I love the way my car sounds with my current exhuast setup. Loud when I want it to be and tamed when I need it to be..

Ahh must be a misunderstanding. Saying "Man I don't know..." I read that as you disagreed and you thought flows were better. Easy mix up.

How much different will the exhaust sound with an O/R X pipe as compared to an O/R H pipe? Whats the difference between the two in general besides the way they tie into the pipes?

The h will sound a bit better. The x has a slight hp gain although it seems thats debatable. At least thats the way I understand it, could be wrong.

If you plan on going with flows and want that muscular sound, then the h-pipe is most def the way to go. Not saying that the h-pipe is a all around better mid pipe when compared to the x-pipe but since flows are a chambered exhuast the h-pipe will make you car sound real mean, as compared to the the raspy sound the x-pipe will give you with the flows. Check out you tube for some exhuast sound clips.

Your opinion.

H - chambered mufflers = old school muscle sound

X - straight thru design = nascar car sound

I'm running Packs with my o/r x.
