nitrous questions for 4.6
Ok i had spray on my camaro and loved it i ran a wet kit. Im new to mustangs i have heard they like dry kits better which is what i will go with probally. I just have a few fast ? my car is a m5 so im guesing i need to install a window switch but what rpm range do i set ot for, also do i need to retard the timing and if so how much and what is the best equipment to do so. Ill be running a 100 shot and i just have minor mods cai, exhaust, and 4.10. Ill be using race gas and what plugs do i need to install and where is the best place and way to place the nozzle. Any help, recomendations, pics, or links would be awesome!! Now im trying to keep up with my room mates z28.

there is no need for race gas on a 100 shot.
i spray 80-100 all the time, i use stock coppers gapped at .042"
timing is at 12* on decent days, i drop to 10* if its hot
i use pump gas, 87 or 89 even on the juice depending on how hot it is.
i never use a window switch, kind of a pain. just use the fp safety switch and wot switch, dry kits are forgiving. if you miss just lift. i dont lift at all unless i miss a shift, and i launch on the bottle too
fyi your still using f-body talk, that trans is a t5
your fp does sound low, 36 is good, take the vac line off the reg and see if it goes to 42, thats where you want it
you dont NEED a new pump, but it's agood idead if you dont know it has been replaced recently. you need increased volume, just that it is working at 100% i use a 190
if you have stock intake tract, tap the tb and mount it right there. you have to drill out the band too though, i drill it slightly oversized so it's easier to get in there.
go here and scroll down to the pics... you'll what im saying

Ok thanks for yalls help if i run a wet shot i want to put a plate on there and they cost like 260 i think thats just for the plate but is it worth the money and what is the biggest shot i can run with a stock bottom end. i think im going to replace the pump just to do it the walbro 255 are like 125 bucks also is that cheaper than a focus svt pump i have heard some people use. My car runs a 9.50 now with 245 bald street tires, straight pipe, no headers, 2 cats, stock tune, 4.10 gears what time can i expect with 315 drag radials and 100 125 shot. My room mates z beat me he ran a 9.10 but he has lt1 373 gears cai 2500 stall headers and y pipe.

Id go with the wet kit. I have been told that mustangs get more power out of a dry kit but its not as safe as a wet kit. If you get a dry kit there is alot more tuning that needs to be done. I have a wet kit on mine and i love it.
