Flowmaster Vs. Magnaflow
Hey guys. Well I recently just put a pypes x pype with 2 of my stock cats on my car. I have bassani mufflers welded in, and I just dont like the sound at low rpms. It sounds stupid it me. Almost like one big exhaust leak... (There are no exhaust leaks though) So I was thinknig of getting some magnaflow mufflers or flowmaster mufflers welded in. Which on will I be happier with? I am looking more for sound then performance as performance wont be a huge issue as Im gonna be supercharging it at the end of the summer.
Thanks,
Brian

I have the stock h pipe with cats and I bought the original 40 series flowmaster 2 chamber they sound really good ! I listened to alot of audio/ videos of different mufflers and I choose these and was very happy with them....

Wow I am actually qualified to answer this one as I have had both systems. The Flows have a much deeper sound than do my present Magna's on the 500. Another plus with the Flows is price as they are cheaper than Magna's. I will say that with 1000 miles on the Magna's now they do sound better than when I first had them installed 1 year ago. If I had to do it over again I would put Flows (40's of coarse) on. Overall Flows 10/10 Magna's 7.5/10. I hope this helps out a bit. Good luck either way.
