Boost Q's
 

Hey all. I have a vortech 2 trim and a 3.33" pulley and power pipe going through a big 32x12x3 FMIC and I only see 6.5psi of boost. Does that seem low to anyone? And also I used the stock vortech discharge tube to feed into the TB even with the FMIC I just cut the one end off would it make a big difference seeing as that it would be 3" piping all the way until then where it goes down to 2/5" or whatever the discharge tube size is? Im just wondering if that is causing the restriction. Thanks

I was having the same problem with my fmic. Went a got a procharger 2 core and I went from 9 lbs peak with a 2.95 pulley to 14lbs.

I see. Well do you think it was just the intercooler or something else as well? And does my situation with the step down sizing sound like it could be a restriction? And what size was the procharger FMIC and how much?

i think both of those can cause a problem , also if your intercooler is too big it can have the same affect !
