Default Friend wants to sell Flowmaster AT for $100 to me

Hey i have a friend who owns an 07 GT and just recently installed some Borlas on it....he removed his Flowmaster American Thunde from it (with a few thousand miles on it) and is now tryin to sell them to me for $100....would anyone recommend buying them from him or should i just save up and buy some new ones????i really want these mufflers but dont know if used ones would be worth it....the appearance is still like new, no scratches, dents or any damage n they still sound really good from when he still had them on

used mufflers are a bad idea. the muffler bearings are probably bad or going to go bad soon.

buy them...why would you think used flowmasters are bad?

i told you to buy them... theres no reason to buy brand new flowmasters when your friend just took his off. muffler bearings are non-existant... i was joking with you...

unless theres like 600 thousand miles on those...they will sound the exact same as a brand new pair. they aren't fiberglass packed they are chambered, theres no fiberglass to break down or anything like that.
