N20 for 91LX
karma279, I'll say the same thing I've said before in other posts. All you need is what the kit includes. A 175 kit WILL state you need either a designated fuel system or bigger pump to support that power level. Nitrous will cause backfires if your motor goes too lean. Even engines not on nitrous can backfire when they are too lean. It's just a little more dramatic with N20 as it's highly oxygenated and you've dumped lots of raw fuel into the intake. It can backfire whether it's a dry or wet system. The key is being smart with timing and fuel octane. I ran a ZEX dry kit with the 125hp jets, 10 degrees timing, and 91 pump fuel. Ran perfectly. The instructions state to reduce base timing 2/4 degrees but your power drops off dramatically. I would recommend throwing in some octane boost for the 125/150 jets to be safe. It's possible to push 200hp of nitrous on a stock forged 302 motor. The key again is enough fuel, proper timing and correct fuel octane. Stock 302's can live very happy lives at 500+ horsepower. It's detonation that sends headgaskets south and pistons to be ventilated.

this is why expoxy is used to prevent the puddling...using a msd or accel for timing adjustament at the seat or even a PMS...you can cut back timing or just change the injector pulse rate with nos is applied. 2 degree will not affect engine perfomance much..if any..10 degrees is good as the 2/4 degree change is for the nitrous dummies who try 14-16 degrees. anything over 200 I only use o-ringed heads...175 shot dry I would not recomend or even 150. NX is a nice setup and there hp rating are @ the wheel so be careful
