Ok, this seems to be something of an anomaly. I seem to be cycling through S/C belts every Summer. Gets worn out and squeals like a pig. Do I need to make some adjustments so I get more life out of the belt? Or is this just something I'm gonna have to live with?

My driving style isn't abusive by any means. Its babied for the most part while I'm driving around. I don't try to slam the gas pedal through the floor board through turns or try and street race at all. Once in a while I will open her up on an open freeway or back roads. She's seen TWO track days of which only one was with the blower on.

Any takers?

You sure it's the belt and not an idler pulley that's gone bad?

Pretty sure.
My testing capabilities are pretty limited but I gave all the pullies a cursory look to make sure there wasn't any play or rubbing and catching when I changed the belt out last. After it's changed out it was fine. I'm kind leaning towards then tensioner
