Default Overheated 5.0 with Vortech

Hey guys, so last weekend I was on the way home and my car started having some issues.

Usually Vortech would cut the engine cover like this:

but when they used my car for R&D they cut it like this:

the hood was pressing on the engine cover, which rubbed on the belt and cut it. I got it into a parking lot but by that time the coolant tank was steaming out of the cap. This all happened within about 3-5 minutes. I had it towed and havent tried to start it yet.

Do you guys think the engine is ok? Im gunna get a new belt put on tomorrow and have the engine cover ground away from the belt a little more. Hopefully it didnt cause any real damage
